The designated lounge for BA passengers is the Premium lounge which is located after security. This is on level 5 of Concourse E and can only be accessed by lift. This often results in queues to leave the lounge when boarding is called in the lounge. It’s an expansive lounge but the decor is a little dated.

Breakfast in the British Airways Galleries First Lounge at London Heathrow. Morning visit to the British Airways Galleries First Lounge at London Heathrow terminal 5, but fortunately not a too early morning visit. The flight does not depart until 10.40 am so there is plenty of time for a relaxed breakfast in the lounge.

The British Airways Galleries Club South at London Heathrow Terminal 5, conveniently located close to the main security checkpoint, is one of the three business class lounges that British Airways operates at Terminal 5, and by far the largest.

On my trip back from Pakistan in early March I had a stopover for 2 hours at Heathrow. Even though it was tight stopover I just had enough time to use the lounge and browse the duty free before boarding for my flight to Philadelphia. The BA lounge in terminal 5 is a decent lounge with shower facilities.

Heathrow airport is of course home to British Airways, which has over 55% of the slots at the main gateway to the UK. Terminal 5 is where the bulk of its flights depart from, however it’s too large to fit into a single terminal so has a number of departures from terminal 3 as well.

This review covers the British Airways Galleries Club Lounge at London Heathrow Airport in Terminal 3. There are several Galleries Clubs at LHR. Please check BA.com for a full directory. After a nice, long transatlantic flight from Dallas to London aboard British Airways in Club World Business Class, we arrived at LHR’s Terminal 5.
